Introducing "Corinthea" A Kong and Halverson 72.
This timeless beauty of the Sea\'s, is a work of Art and a masterpiece of Boatbuilding and Engineering. Construction was completed by Kong & Halvorsen in their yard in Kowloon , Hong Kong in 1980 since then she has had multiple owners each of whom have taken exceptional care of there pride and joy.
She presents  closely with her original finishes, but with upgrades and refurbishing along the way has been kept in excellent condition. At 72\' , she is a serious passage maker and has made sea voyages from Southern California to Alaska and extensive cruises to Florida, the Bahamas, and Caribbean waters. and is now here on Pittwater, Sydney. 
Hull construction is triple diagonal Mahogany, painted with U.S Paints Awl Grip 1000. In 1989 the hull was Heavily sheathed below the waterline to aid in the prevention of worm damage while cruising the Caribbean & tropical waters.  In 2004/2005  she underwent  major refit works program to rebuild the twin Detroit main engines, and 2 new 33 Kva Northern Lights gen sets were installed with Hydraulic drives on both, to run the new U.S bow and stern thrusters which were also installed at that time ,other mechanical & electrical upgrades were carried out at this refit . The Electronics / Navigation package was also upgraded to Furuno components. Accommodation is plentiful in 5 cabins, all with ample storage space, comprising 1 large Aft. Stateroom with king bed and en suite , a further 2 X 2 single bed cabins Aft. with en suites also. Fwd. there are guest /crew cabins for 3 in two cabins with separate head and shower. This lower Fwd. deck area also has a small functioning galley facility with dining table for 3 , and also provides entry by way of sound proof door to the walk in stand up engine room which is well laid out so access to most machinery is not difficult. The world renowned Detroit Diesel Series 71 at 485 HP a side add the finishing touch to this space.
 Back up on the Main deck Fwd. is the wheelhouse, looking over the Fwd. seating to the stem of the vessel. There is ample room for 3 to 4 people to move around in the wheelhouse so the skipper is not alone when navigating the vessel on passages. From the wheelhouse, access is provided to the Bridge deck above which has a further Navigation station and large covered entertaining area complete with lounge area. This deck also has 2 deck cranes for lifting tenders on board and storing for passage making, a chest freezer and BBQ facility set up.  Right aft on this deck there is a wrap around lounge, if you would prefer to sun yourself.  Immediately behind the wheelhouse on the main deck is the amply sized Galley with Large GE stainless steel fridge/freezer , electric 4 hob stove with large oven, 2 draw dishwasher , microwave, double stainless steel sink with lots of pantry and storage space. Also on this level is a day head, huge saloon area with 8 seater dining table and 5 seater couch, this flows out through a sliding door to the aft  Teak deck with cushioned lounge and wet bar with bar fridge . There is a lower Teak deck off this rear deck used when boarding the vessel from the large duckboard with swimming ladder. This lower deck has traditionally been used for game fishing and has ample space for 5 or more people at once to function whilst fishing or playing with the water toys. The aft "Fisherman" deck gives access  by way of a full sized door into the Aft Stateroom providing a private deck area for the owner away from the rest of the guests and crew.  "Corinthia" cruises at 8 - 10 Kts. comfortably & continuously, and if the need arises she will do 13 Kts. She carries a large fuel capacity of 7500 Litres in 3 tanks, offering long range cruising capabilities for serious passage making . Her 2  Northern Lights Gen sets have exceptionally low hours on them at ( 2234 Hrs Pt. and 1944 Stbd. ) and all machinery is operational. She is fitted with  Niad stabilisers to take the roll out and has Satellite TV and Phone , fresh water is in plentiful supply with 2200 Litres in 4 tanks  and a water maker which produces 126 L/Hr or 3000 L/day.
Proven in all sea states, Corinthea will take you where you wish in comfort and safety.
